When you send the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode or town, the service you need, any details or photographs you choose to send, and your consent to be contacted.
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out work if you go ahead.
Our lawful basis for replying and quoting is UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You do not need to give consent for us to answer an enquiry you sent us. If we go on to do the work, the same basis covers performance of that contract.
If you tick the optional marketing box we rely on your consent for those emails only. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link, without affecting anything else.
Your enquiry is stored in our customer relationship management system, which is provided by HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel). They process the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and because they are based in the United States your details may be stored outside the UK.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to third parties for marketing.
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 24 months. Records of work we have carried out are kept for six years, which is how long we are required to keep them for tax purposes and for any claim arising from the work.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have its use restricted, object to how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we’ll deal with it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
